Our vocational school programs' educational and teaching characteristics and program outcomes are evaluated within the framework of the “Turkey Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ)” and specific field qualifications are also taken into account. Educational programs are designed according to the goals recorded in TYYÇ, which has been developed within the framework of the “European Higher Education Area Qualifications Framework.” For example; course credits are based on the student workload calculated according to the information, skills, and achievements reported on a program basis recorded in the “Turkey Higher Education Qualifications Framework,” and educational programs are offered as 30 ECTS per semester. The design based on student workload in the educational and teaching institutions carried out in our unit is determined by considering YÖKAK and ECTS. In our unit's ECTS declaration, 30 ECTS corresponds to a workload of 1 semester, 60 ECTS corresponds to a workload of 1 year, and 1 ECTS = 25–30 hours of workload. The educational characteristics and program outcomes of the programs are planned to be presented in a measurable way based on the student's program outcomes. In determining the student workflow, the in-class and out-of-class studies and exams related to the course that the student performs are not taken into account to ensure that the targeted learning outcomes can be achieved.
