We wish all our students success in their exams.

NOTE:

According to the provisions of Articles 20/(3)-b and 20/(4) of our University's Associate Degree and Bachelor's Degree Education-Teaching and Exam Regulation, it is mandatory to participate in the midterm exam held during the semester in order to take the final exams and make-up exams at the end of the semester.

Those who do not participate in the midterm exam cannot take the final and make-up exams.

Students who are unable to take the midterm exam for the following reasons can take the make-up exams that will be held after the midterm exams; the relevant regulation article is provided below;

(2) The decision to consider students who cannot attend the midterm exams as excused is made by the relevant unit's board of directors. The principles regarding excuses are as follows:

a) Students must submit supporting documents related to the excuse specified in the first paragraph, along with a petition, to their unit within three working days following the end of the midterm exams, provided they have valid and justifiable reasons for their excuses; the excuses will be evaluated by the unit's board of directors on the following fourth working day and announced on the fifth working day.

b) Applications not made within the specified time will not be accepted.

c) For students who experience severe illness, accidents, severe illness or death of a first-degree relative, natural disasters, and similar situations before the midterm exams, the application period in clause (a) will not be considered, and the evaluation will be made by the relevant unit's board of directors.

ç) A student whose excuse is accepted by the relevant unit's board of directors cannot take exams during the period from the occurrence of the excuse until its end; any exams taken during this period will be canceled.

d) The health reports that students obtain from health institutions must include the date and time of the occurrence of the excuse.

Make-up exams will be held in the second week following the end of the midterm exams for students who could not attend the midterm exams and whose excuse applications have been accepted.
