Awareness Seminar for Students of Our Vocational School by Experts of Burdur Provincial Police Department

An awareness and information training was organized for the students of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Social Sciences Vocational School by the expert teams of Burdur Provincial Police Department.

The event, held on October 19 in the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences Conference Hall, attracted great interest from students. During the seminar, which took place between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, police personnel addressed the topics of "addiction" and "fraud," which are among the most significant security risks today, in detail.

As part of the training, the protection of young people against criminal networks, practical measures to be taken against the increasing methods of internet and phone fraud, and the harms of substance addiction were conveyed to students with striking examples. Expert police officers emphasized the legal paths students should follow when they encounter suspicious situations and that the police organization is always by their side.

The interactive training program, which also answered the questions students were curious about, concluded after mutual exchanges of views, aiming to contribute to young people leading a safer social life. The management of the Social Sciences Vocational School expressed their gratitude to the Provincial Police Department teams for their valuable information and support.
